Today, we celebrate a year presenting an Audio version of the Imagery exercises published in the Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery: Colette Aboulker Muscat’s 2100 Visualization Exercises For Personal Development, Healing And Self-Knowledge. It is also time to celebrate the dedicated Imagers who join us regularly as well as those who drop by when they can.

Imagery offers an opportunity for growth and healing that is universal. Embedded within Colette’s exercises are truths taught through the ages by master teachers of many traditions and disciplines.  Colette’s genius is in weaving these ancient revelations into the evocative Imagery exercises you accomplish each week.

The Tree of Life series continues today, with  an exercise that commemorates you by focusing on your name.

ADAM AND EVE: THE FIRST TEST OF FREE WILL

Today we move on from The Tree of Life and The Tree of Knowledge to Adam and Eve, a series reminding us of the challenges we face with free will.  Buried deep within us is a memory of Eden, a reminder of our potential existence as beings made in the image and likeness of God.

The Adam and Eve series is introduced with a line from Colette’s poem Fountain of Wisdom -Colette Aboulker-Muscat

“The Fountain of Wisdom of my ancestors Is still running in my being.”  May it be so for all of us.

ADAM AND EVE IMAGERY WITH AUDIO

Note:  The first exercise has a new instruction after the actual Imagery is presented.  It tells you to “Remember this image as you breathe out and open your eyes.  Then (in waking life) see your image on the wall opposite you and let it fade away.  If you cannot see it on the wall, see it in your mind’s eye with your eyes open.

BE ONE WITH THE TREE OF LIFE AND THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE

Blog Icon Today we begin the chapter in The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery called The Tree of Life.  This group of exercises is presented as an introduction to a further section called Adam and Eve.  By themselves, the Tree of Life exercises may be used to heal neurological disorders.  When used in conjunction with Adam and Eve, they provide a  perspective on  “the fall” of Adam and Eve, as the initiation of challenges to free will on the path to consciousness.

Do a few of the exercises each day, writing and/or drawing your imagery responses immediately after the last exercise you have chosen to do for that day.

Reminder: Please state your intention aloud as you begin.  Our voice, stating clearly what we aim for,  is a powerful medium in our healing.

JESUS LAST DAYS, CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION

During these last days of Lent, The Passion and Death of Jesus Christ face us with the tragic realities of this season. Yet with all its hardship, treachery, and sacrifice, Lent and Easter are a magnificent love story–a story of a God who so loves us that he sent his only Son to live among us and to be  sacrificed in the most painful way for the errors of humankind.    This bitter-sweet Mystery of Golgotha is the core of Christianity.  Jesus crucifixion has its true ending in how we accept his gift so we, too, may have eternal life.
