Imagery Exercise for Week of July 23, 2012

Barbarah L. Fedoroff

Here’s the Imagery Exercise I promised you this morning on Face Book.  The exercise is called Live Now To Clear Up The Past.

One of its aims is to help you see a past event in the light of today.

If you’re new to Imagery, you’ll find instructions for the breathing, a key component of Imagery, highlighted in a May 2011 blog listed in the Archives menu in the right-hand column.  You’ll also find a chapter called Instructions For Imaging in the Table of Contents of The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery edited by Gerald Epstein, M.D. and me, Barbarah L. Fedoroff.

Live Now To Clear Up The Past:

Close your eyes and breathe out one time.  Be in a classroom.  Live your experience there in a new way.  (Keep your eyes closed.)

Breathe out one time.  Be in a playground.  Live your experience there in a new way.  Breathe out one time and Open your eyes.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the Imagery exercises created by Colette Aboulker-Muscat, a twentieth century spiritual master. The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery is an anthology of 2100 visualization exercises for self-discovery, healing, inspiration and transformation. Never before has this work been compiled and published.

The book is co-edited by Gerald Epstein, M.D. and Barbarah L. Fedoroff .  You’ll find it at <> and <Barnes and Noble>.  Or ask for it at your favorite bookstore.

Please forward this to your friends–or direct them to <;

E-Subscribe in the right-hand column and you’ll be notified when new blogs are posted.

Our next Audio Imagery series of exercises from The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery will be available on Friday evening, July 28, 2012.

Please let me know how you’re experiencing Imagery either through the blog’s Comment section or at  I look forward to hearing from you.

Blessings, Barbarah

I'm a blogger and editor presenting time-tested tools for self-awareness. The blog teaches techniques for identifying synchronicities to inform decision-making and the use of Imagery to change beliefs no longer beneficial. Certified by the American Institute for Mental Imagery and co-editor of The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery, I've been able to record many of the Imagery exercises of Mme. Colette Aboulker Muscat in blogs so you can experience the power of Imagery in your own home. My specialty is editing info written by professionals in fields often speaking their own "language," making it understood by a broader audience.
