Today we experience more of who we are and how we interact with others through a series of Imagery exercises that focus on movement and sound.  As always, Colette has found yet another way for us to enter our hidden realms.  These exercises are part of the chapter Resurrection of the Body.

If you find yourself physically moving during the exercise, that’s fine.  Then open your eyes and begin to do the exercise again imaginally.  There are treasures to be discovered within you.

RETARD AGING WITH THESE IMAGERY EXERCISES

WELCOME TO BARBARAH’S BLOG!

Blog Icon

Today we continue with the Imagery exercises in the chapter Resurrection of the Body in The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery. These exercises increase our awareness of where we carry stress in our bodies–and give us a tool for releasing that stress so our bodies can return to their natural state of ease.  They also open opportunities to release past experiences and beliefs that no longer support our spiritual journey.  You’ll find more on this at the end of the blog.

NEW IMAGERY: EXERCISES OF THE SPIRITUAL HEART

WELCOME TO BARBARAH’S BLOG

“Floating on a cloud, blue stars crossing me, I slide up to this new                       Point where, you and me joining, are free…” -Colette, “Jewel of the Night”

In this new chapter, Colette introduces us to the tabernacle within where we meet our Inside Observer.  Colette recommends we do the first exercise once in the morning for seven days to prepare for this sacred meeting. Then follow Exercise 1 with as few or as many of the exercises in the group you choose to do.

We conclude the chapter, Living In The Moment with two sets of exercises, The Duality of  Uncertainty and The Embryo of Immortality and close with a single exercise called The Past and Eternity: Finding the Moment.

There’s a lot here, but you can do Duality of Uncertainty in one sitting, and Embryo of Immortality in another,  following each with The Past and Eternity.

Note: Janus, referred to in this exercise, is the two-faced Roman God, with one face looking to the future, the other to the past.  Often the future face is depicted as looking cheerful and optimistic, the past looking depressed.

2014 IMAGERY OPENS WITH LIVING IN THE MOMENT

WELCOME TO BARBARAH’S BLOG!

Happy New Year.  We open 2014 focusing on Blog IconLiving In The Moment, a state we all seek and achieve, only to discover that we have let it slip away.   How do we know when this happens?  One of the first signs  is that our joy is replaced by varying degrees of  anxiousness.  We may find ourselves back in the past, re-hashing things, or in the future, struggling with “what if’s.”  But it is only the present moment that belongs to us. The past and future belong to The Divine.

By striving to live in the moment, we prepare ourselves for the joyful moment Colette shares with us: that moment when….

…”In this state of balance, for one moment I reach the unity.” – Colette, Essence of Reality

Thank you Colette for sharing this wisdom with us.
